As regards the time.....

In 1994, we considered that to us and our dogs will be better outside the city, and so is our refuge for several years happened in Kalistě  near Ondrejov - a small village around 40 permanent residents. After some time we decided to build a large house and that became our  new home we and all our friends from the animal kingdom found permanently in a beautiful picturesque landscape Posázaví in Ondrejov town, which is from Prague, as a stone's throw (30 km road D1)

Huntings dogs, namely English Cocrspaniel did guide us since 1971, when to our family came first black girl AC Brita z Hanspaulky from breed Mrs. Petrovova. When she left in dog heaven, another member of our family was in 1984 black and white little girl AC Mira z Blatova from reputable breed spouses Smrz. But our life lover became Labrador Retrievers.  Their breeding and training focus since 1991. The aim of our kennel BOHEMIA BRAS is a sole family breeding Labrador Retrievers, balanced mentally and physically resistant individuals, with a focus on excellence exterior without genetic defects.

We believe that labrador intellect the most developed, if he is granted a permanent contact with the man, therefore all our dogs live together with us in the house. Their typical characteristics and congenital working leanings are trying to consolidate and further develop the preparation work for their exams and graduated.  Reward our efforts is the fact that our boys have a cheerful, friendly and balanced nature. We are very excited that some dogs of our breeding passed the tests and is now working as helpers of people, such as guidance, assistance, canisterapeutic, rescue and avalanche dogs.

We are members of several European clubs associating breeders of Labrador Retrievers FINNISH LABRADOR CLUB and very prestigious English THE LABRADOR Club, whose patron is the Queen of English itself.

In the Czech Republic we closely cooperate with KCHLS (Club breeders hunting dogs), under whose auspices we organize weekend and weekly training events of retrievers,  organize breeding registration OVVR, publishing retriever´s catalogue, preparing for printing club Rapporteur and help in implementing the club and special exhibitions.  As member of the Commission for Youth in CMKU, we organize training camps hunting dogs for children and youth. Thanks to support from the club management in particular Mr. Ing. Kubes.

Club KCHLS has nominated me for the exhibition as a JUDGE FOR EXTERIOR OF LABRADOR RETRIEVERS

In this way I would like to thank Mrs. Cecrdlova (breed Golden Erinor) for assistance and valuable advice in the beginning of our labrador breed and especially for our four wonderful friends who have become the mainstay of our breed  BOHEMIA BRAS.

Every year, before the advent of winter, our lab´s  girls us bring home the small hedgehogs, which we take on "winter flat", because otherwise would not have a chance to survive this annual period.
