Our stay events are intended for individuals, couples, but also entire families with children. Currently, we organize more intimate events with the participation of only around 15 dogs in hotel-type accommodation facilities with catering. In addition to the intensive training of the dogs divided into individual groups, various sports competitions, games and knowledge competitions are prepared for all participants. Some of our events are completed by Retriever basic examination (OVVR) and among of our other activities and the annual organization of the Club's Autumn Trial. One of the main pillars of our activity since the beginning of organizing training events is the support and development of hunting cynology among children and youth. In a children's group in a fun way, in the form of games and knowledge quizzes, we introduce children to the essence of breeding, training and exhibiting dogs of hunting breeds. The priority for placing a child in a group in which children are already actively participating in dog training is not the child's age, but his mental maturity and ability to communicate with the dog.  | ||
A BIT OF HISTORY Already in 1997, we were the first in the Czech Republic to start training Retrievers, when we rented part of the hunting ground in Molitorov near Kouřimi in the Central Bohemian Region. Retriever owners came from all over the country every weekend. In the same year, we also organized the first week-long stay event in the south of Moravia, specifically in the village of Brod nad Dyjí. This event met with great success. The following year, 120 participants came to our Retriever camp with their dogs, not only from the Czech Republic, but also also from several neighboring states, it was clear to us that we were headed in the right direction. More than 2,000 owners with their Retrievers have participated in the 26 years of our events that have taken place so far. I smile today when I remember our own beginnings in breeding Labradors, but there was a time when information about this breed in our country was almost nil and hunting trials to match the nature and the innate qualities of these wonderful dogs did not exist. As we have already mentioned, over the years more than 2,000 participants have taken part in our training events. Some participants who attended our training events with their first dogs later became retriever trainers or judges for hunting breeds themselves.
